Studio O+A were tasked with designing a new space for Sapphire Ventures in Palo Alto that was full of juxtapositions. The company wanted offices that were “elegant, but industrial; intense, but warm; edgy, but comfortable (Not too comfortable)” to create a successful work environment that was balanced yet inspiring.
厨房/休息室的设计模仿了舒适、现代公寓的感觉。私人空间被开辟出来，用于较小的会议或需要安静时间的员工。温暖的木材，灰色调和雕塑灯具营造出舒适的现代氛围。蓝色作为一种强调色贯穿始终，其纹理给人一种家的感觉。
The kitchen/lounge space was designed to mimic the feel of a cozy, modern apartment.Private spaces were carved out for smaller meetings or employees needing some quiet time. Warm woods, shades of grey, and sculptural light fixtures create a comfortably modern atmosphere.Blue was used as an accent color throughout, as were textures for a more homey feel.
